From the Bluefish project web site: Bluefish is a powerful editor for experienced web designers and programmers. Bluefish supports many programming and markup languages, but it focuses on editing dynamic and interactive websites.

If you are accustomed to programming web sites with Macromedia Dreamwever and are looking for a Linux-friendly replacement for that program, Bluefish is for you. Recently the project reached version 1.0. You can download it here.
